We are an invite-only online music community trying to rid ourselves of the reliance on our tired quagmire of college era playlists, by occasionally sending fresh tunes directly to your inbox.

Why do I need Music For Busy People?

Most of us don't have the time, or industry knowledge, to sift through hundreds of bands and songs and try to identify great, new songs. Let me (Max) do the work for you.

But who is that dude to the right?

I am Max, born of the proper home of the Beatles. Went to college and DJd some quite close to cat's cradle, just not that close, yeah.. that school, basketball fans get out your pitchforks, or no, that would be me with the forks and the whatnot. No matter, we all like the music right? indeed. Out of college I traveled around some, ending up in New York, where as fortune would have it, I met a well known music magazine writer whom, for a while, I researched for.

Oh! The Narcissism!

That is the last of it. If you can bear with the email titles, you wont be hearing too much from me, unless you send a message my way. This is not a blog. There are no plans to set up a blog. I will never call you my peeps, or, heaven forbid, my minions. The whole point here is that I read the blogs so you don’t have to.

And how does it all function community wise?

We will see, ey? Presently I research away on my own, as do some friends, aggregate our findings, then set up the weekly list. You are welcome to lend a helpful hand, ear, or some such. You know a band? They are playing New York? Well then lets go see how they are live.
